On the brightest setting the light will produce 550 Lumens running about three hours. Of course with any battery operated device, the lower the brightness the longer the life of the charge of the battery. The three setting of this light consist of 550 Lumens, mid at 250 Lumens and the lowest setting shines the light at 50 Lumens. At the lowest setting the light will last about ten hours before having to be recharged. There is also a strobe mode, which flashes at the brightness of 250 Lumens. You can simply and easily check the battery power by holding the button down for three seconds after the light has been turned off. The light will then flash from one to ten times, with ten times meaning the battery is fully charged. I have used the light for commuting and it is plenty bright on street light lit roads. The light is only able to be attached on your handlebars and can’t attach to a helmet. The mount it comes with can stay on the bike and the light  can simply slide out. The light is very secure and stable in the handlebar mount. The mount ratchets to tighten when putting on the handlebar. The light comes with the necessary USB charging cable. This is a great light for any cyclist or mountain bike rider. Keep in mind this light is only able to be attached to handlebars and not the option of both handlebars or helmet. The ease of being able to charge it in a computer or wall USB charger is perfect for commuters who may need to charge it while at work. 

The lights battery can be checked by holding the button in for three seconds.  The light will then blink anywhere from one to ten times.  Each blink is ten percent of a charge.  So if the light blinks six times, you have a battery that is at 60 percent. 

I am a fan of using any light on the strobe mode, like this one that on that mode shines at 250 Lumens, during the day when commuting and riding with traffic.

This Bluetooth Smart bike light is very innovative and impressive. The numerous features, with more being added with firmware updates. This bike light with its theft and crash detection options is a must have for any cyclist. The dual CREE LED's are bright enough for being very visible for daytime use. The bike tail light comes in the option of 2x95 Lumen or 2x125 Lumen brightnesses. I love the option of the dimming the light on group rides, as you don’t want to blind the rider, if there is one behind you. If you are out riding by yourself, then turning it up the max brightness. The theft detection option will allow you to get about 100 feet away from your bike (light attached of course) and you being alerted as to when your bike has moved or motion has occurred to the light somehow.  When playing with the light in this option, my son and daughter had fun trying to see if they could walk away with the light in their hand from the coffee table after the alarm was set to go off. A car horn sound as well as alert message appear on the phone telling you to check on your bike. Typically on a group ride, others watch your bike for you while running in to use the bathroom or get more water at a convince store. This is great, because that means, I can take a bathroom break, if I am out riding by myself and know my bike being guarded by the ICON if the small lock I carry isn’t enough to slow down a would be thief. I am just super impressed with first of all the brightness and flash patterns the light provides.

This is an impressive little light at 2600 Lumes with five Cree XML-T6 LED's. On the head of the light, there is green silicone on/off mode button on the back. Hitting the button will activate the light at full power/ half power or an intense flashing/strobe mode. When the light is plugged into the battery the button glows green. First off to mount the light, I love it comes with a “no tools” need type silicone strap. There are two of them, both different sizes. One can be used when attaching it the included helmet mount while the other for smaller sized handlebars,etc. I like the “no tools” attachment,  because who wants to mess around with tools to put on and take off a light. The light is both shock and waterproof. The helmet strap uses very fine velcro which is very strong. After figuring out which helmet you want to mount it to the excess velcro strap can be trimmed or tucked into the helmet. The battery has two straps permanently attached it and has numerous notches in, so it can fit various size bike top tubes. The battery is an 8.4 volts 8800mAh, so it will last pretty long running full brightness. The light also comes with its own Li-ion charging cord. This is a great bright light. The only problem I foresee in the future is maybe an issue with the cord at the back of the light, where the strap sits in the mount. The cord comes the back of the light exactly where the silicone strap needs space.  The light does come with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee money back under 60 days and two year limited lifetime warranty. This light with my riding will definitely get a workout either on the road or mountain bike trails. Very bright bike light. Love the "no tools" installation on both light and battery to the bike or helmet 

The LucidBRAKE Bicycle Brake Light

Depending upon its mounted orientation, which side of the octagonal shaped tail light or brake light, is placed upwards as the unit is held vertically. Inside the unit are eight very bright LED’s. The light has four options consisting of 

1. A steady blinking of lights (LED’s flicker in a star like pattern over and over) 

2. a flickering pulse of lights (LED’s light up in a counter clockwise motion)

3. No lights illuminated until braking occurs

4. A dim steady light with all eight LED are lit up.  

This light is a brake light.  With its accelerometer it will blink faster before braking if a hard braking occurred or just illuminate when braking is going on. 

It uses 2 AAA batteries and is turned off or put in a sleep mode by simple placing it face up or face down flat.

When installing the batteries, pay attention to the polarity or + and - of the battery and install them properly. 

The unit comes with a few pieces of an industrial type Velcro, so it can be attached to backpacks or the bike.

With the back of the light being flat, I have had a hard time finding or feeling comfortable with attaching it to a flat spot. The numerous helmets I own don’t have flat spot on the back of them nor do I have a flat spot along the back of my bike anywhere. To make it usable on the back of my helmet I have gone ahead and rigged up a velcro strap. It runs inside the unit with the cover off and placed between the batteries. The Velcro strap then runs through two vent holes in the back of my helmet and then around the unit again.  The second time the strap is holding on to the cover of the LucidBRAKE light stays attached.

The light is perfect to use obviously at night or early mornings when it is dark outside, but with its bright CREE LED’s it is well suited for daytime use also, bringing that added attention to drivers you share the road with. 

The green light not only lets you know what mode the light is in, but when the device is woken up, or turned on, it blinks up to seven times to let you know the battery level or fuel level.  The more the green light blinks in the start up the more battery power it has. The battery or fuel light also blinks when the device is put to sleep by simply facing the unit downward. This is great because as you shut it down you can see then if you need to recharge it before your next ride.  

The weatherproof light is charged by using a USB cord it comes with. The light comes with two silicone straps for mounting it to the seat post of your bike. It only needs the one strap, the other one it comes with is a spare. 

This smart light kicks into action when you are wanting to get a drivers attention most all of this being done to improve safety on the road. 

I am super impressed with the innovative technology built in the See.Sense 2.0 tail light and would highly recommend it to any rider wanting to increase their safety while sharing the road with vehicle traffic.

The USB rechargeable 300 Lumen Cree LED bike headlight by Vivo-Bike.  This headlight weighs 50 grams and is water resistant.  It conveniently fits on handlebars ranging in diameter from 20mm to 40mm and easily can be attached and removed quickly without the use of any tools. The beam it emits, is more of a flat beam, unlike other lights that shine a round beam. The light comes with a micro USB cord, for charging the light. The USB cord is a little over eight inches in length. To charge it simple attache to a computer port or wall adapter.  A red lamp is present inside the on/off switch when it is charging. The lamp turns green when the light is fully charged. The light has a total of three modes. A high, a low and a flashing or strobe mode. It takes approximately three hours to fully charge the light. In return when using the light in high mode the battery is expected to last about three hours. CycleBeam’s Proton 700 Lumen bike helmet light is a LED CREE XM-L2  which is enclosed in an aircraft-grade aluminum housing which is water-proof. Being housed in aluminum it allows for the light to dissipate heat, helping increase the length the battery before recharging. Weighing about 167 Gram ( 50 Gram — light + 117 Gram — battery) it is very comfortable mounted on top of the bike helmet. It’s single button control is easy to use in any of the six modes ( high, medium, low, strobe, SOS and off). The battery level is shown in the button with is glowing green when the battery is full and red when it is low. With the output of the light set on high, emitting a full 650-700 Lumen the battery will last about two and a half hours. 

The light mounts very easily to the helmet mount using a rubber ring, which in turn is easily attached running it through a few air vents in the helmet and centering the light.  When mounted the light is able to be adjusted up and down allowing the rider to light the path more in front of them or up close. 

Straps also come along to strap the battery to your helmet, however after a long ride any weight added to the helmet is unnecessary.  A 40 inch power extension comes with the light, allowing you to place the battery pack in your jersey pocket or ride pack. 
The light is very impressive for its size and the quality of the beam is sweet. 

Besides using the USB connector to charge the battery back, it can be used in an emergency as a power bank for your smart phone or other device. It takes awhile for the battery to charge so keep this in mind before wanting to use the light.

The very powerful 250 Lumen headlight is light and very functional.  Simply align the arrows on the front and twist counter clockwise to install 4 AAA batteries inside. Replace the front and your ready to go. The light has three options pushing the button. Once for 100%, twice for 50% and three times for a flashing strobe.  The light pattern is narrow.  The light is easily attached to a wide variety of handlebar diameters. A built in quick release under the light is handy for removing the light yet leaving its mounting bracket attached to the bike.  Inside the box are two red tail lights.  These also have three options, one button push turning the light on (constant), twice will blink the light slow and three times will blink the light faster.  Not only is the headlight important when out riding or commuting but the tail light is important also to tell others you are sharing the road with them.
