This is an impressive little light at 2600 Lumes with five Cree XML-T6 LED's. On the head of the light, there is green silicone on/off mode button on the back. Hitting the button will activate the light at full power/ half power or an intense flashing/strobe mode. When the light is plugged into the battery the button glows green. First off to mount the light, I love it comes with a “no tools” need type silicone strap. There are two of them, both different sizes. One can be used when attaching it the included helmet mount while the other for smaller sized handlebars,etc. I like the “no tools” attachment,  because who wants to mess around with tools to put on and take off a light. The light is both shock and waterproof. The helmet strap uses very fine velcro which is very strong. After figuring out which helmet you want to mount it to the excess velcro strap can be trimmed or tucked into the helmet. The battery has two straps permanently attached it and has numerous notches in, so it can fit various size bike top tubes. The battery is an 8.4 volts 8800mAh, so it will last pretty long running full brightness. The light also comes with its own Li-ion charging cord. This is a great bright light. The only problem I foresee in the future is maybe an issue with the cord at the back of the light, where the strap sits in the mount. The green light not only lets you know what mode the light is in, but when the device is woken up, or turned on, it blinks up to seven times to let you know the battery level or fuel level.  The more the green light blinks in the start up the more battery power it has. The battery or fuel light also blinks when the device is put to sleep by simply facing the unit downward. This is great because as you shut it down you can see then if you need to recharge it before your next ride.  

The weatherproof light is charged by using a USB cord it comes with. The light comes with two silicone straps for mounting it to the seat post of your bike. It only needs the one strap, the other one it comes with is a spare. 

This smart light kicks into action when you are wanting to get a drivers attention most all of this being done to improve safety on the road.

I had the opportunity in the past few weeks to test and review the Cycle Torch Shark 500 Lumen super bright bike light along with a taillight, both USB port rechargeable. The beam in which the light emits is what they are calling a flat shape beam.  This is done as to not blind oncoming traffic or others in front of you. I believe this is due to the shape of the front of the light. The mount is very easy to install with the provided silicone straps letting the light be attached to bars with a diameter of 20mm to 34mm. The headlight has four modes. A high, a medium, a low and a flashing / strobe mode.  If the light was to be used in the high mode ( using all 500 Lumen) the battery would last about an hour and a half. If the battery was used on medium ( 250 Lumen) the battery would last three hours. If the battery was used on low ( 50 Lumen) is would last about 15 hours, and finally if the light was used in the flashing mode the battery is expected to last longer than 30 hours before needing to be recharged.

To find out how much charge is in the battery, simply hold down the on button for three seconds. The light will flash from one to ten times.  The more flashes the more power the battery has. So one blink indicates the battery is nearly dead and ten indicates the battery is fully charged. Also the light switch will glow red when the battery level is low and will turn off automatically is the battery is too low. The light is powered by a 18650 / 3.7V-2400 mAh Li-ion battery with the light source being a CREE XML T6 ultra bright LED. Charging the unit takes between four and ten hours with the simple USB cable port on the back of the light. 

The tail light it comes with is what they are calling a Nano I.  To access the USB charging port it must be unscrewed apart from the rubber attachment strip. There is a small light inside that glows letting you know the battery is charging, which will take about two hours to fully charge. Depending on the mode in which it is used in the light can last from two hour to 20 hours. It can also be attached to bars / seat posts with a diameter of 20mm to 34mm. The tail light operates in three modes, steady light or fast or slow blinking.

CycleBeam’s Proton 700 Lumen bike helmet light is a LED CREE XM-L2  which is enclosed in an aircraft-grade aluminum housing which is water-proof. Being housed in aluminum it allows for the light to dissipate heat, helping increase the length the battery before recharging. Weighing about 167 Gram ( 50 Gram — light + 117 Gram — battery) it is very comfortable mounted on top of the bike helmet. It’s single button control is easy to use in any of the six modes ( high, medium, low, strobe, SOS and off). Besides using the USB connector to charge the battery back, it can be used in an emergency as a power bank for your smart phone or other device. It takes awhile for the battery to charge so keep this in mind before wanting to use the light. 

Mr. Visibility USB Rechargeable Green Reflective LED Belt

I was sent the Mr. Visibility USB rechargeable green reflective LED belt to review.  First off it is very comfortable after adjusting the belt to fit your waist. I have worn the belt both running and cycling.  Seriously on numerous occasions, after passing someone, I have heard “what is that” start up their conversation.  Right there I know it increases visibility.  While only the back portion has the blinking or solid LED light up section, the rest of the belt is bright green and is reflective. The easy to install Super Bright Rim LED Lights not only are cool but increase your safety being seen in the dark by vehicles. Simply remove the valve cap and replace with a cap that allows you to insert the light.  Simple as that. Xtreme Bright's Pro Series X55 premium LED Headlamp

First off, I wear this headlamp on it's headband stretched over my helmet and use as an additional light to light my path on my mountain bike.  

So, the Xtreme Bright's Pro Series X55 headlamp is very functional with three modes, 50 percent power, 100 percent power and flash or strobe mode. The very bright zoomable light is powered by 4AA batteries which are covered by a silicone rubber cover. The switch to control the power is on the battery cover. The elastic strap is fits comfortably on your head, or in my case over the outside of my helmet.  I foresee using this lamp while running in the early mornings or getting a run in when it's dark out at night. The light is able to directed up and down if you are looking to direct the beam straight down from you or out farther away to see what's in your path. I am impressed with the quality of light that lamp is able to produce only using 4AA's.  

Xtreme Bright LED Camping Lantern

I have recently been using the Xtreme Bright’s LED camping lantern as I get outside my car and prep my mountain bike before heading out on the trail.  The small lantern, about the size of a soup can only weighs 6 ounces and is run by 3AA batteries. The handles on the top are very convenient and could be used to hang in a tree or attach a rope or clip to to suspend it. The light simply turns on my pulling the top of the lantern up, exposing the LED.  If you wanted to dim the light you could just not extend the lamp out all the way. I can foresee this lamp making its way into our backpacks to go hiking or camping.  The lamp is available in three colors red, black and gold.
