Con-Cret!, Creatine HCI (Creatine Hydrochloride)

I am excited to be using Con-Cret!. The Creatine HCI (Creatine Hydrochloride) in Con-Cret will help with my endurance, increasing my strength and speeding up my muscle recovery.  Although I am not logging as many hours on the bike right now, I am working more with my weights. Wanting to build up some muscle this Winter and prepare for Spring.
I am using the Con-Cret as directed. I take the power, two scoops, being I weigh just over 200 pounds. One scoop for every 100 pounds. The scoop is included inside the container. It can be taken before or after a training session.  Each scoop provides 750mg of Creatine HCI (Creatine Hydrochloride). I have tried both the Blue Raspberry and Watermelon flavors. Both very spot on to the taste. For those that don’t like to mix flavors in their drinks or find a flavor they like you can always take the supplement in a capsule form. They both have the same dosing, 1 capsule for every 100 pounds. Both the capsules and flavored powder have the same amount of doses in them.  They are easy on the stomach, even when taken on an empty stomach. Increase my water intake to help saturate my muscles with the Con-Cret Creatine HCI.

I want to extend a discount for those that would like to try it themselves. For followers of mine, either twitter or my blog, you can get a 25 percent off discount by using the code “SMHacker25” when ordering.

NutraEdge Shaker Bottle with Blender Ball

Mixing up a protein powder or sports drink mix is pretty easy with the NutraEdge Shaker Bottle with Blender Ball.  The latest bottle I bought, is the NutraEdge Shaker Bottle with Blender Ball that holds 20.5 ounces of liquid.  It seals perfectly and even has a measuring guide on the outside with a readout in ML and ounces.  The “see through” window makes it nice to see how much liquid is inside. The metal blending ball does its job well.  The bottom of the bottle is squared off, so some drink mix or protein powder might get stuck.  It is nice that it is dishwasher safe, so after use, just drop in the dishwasher to be cleaned.  The bottle is made of Polypropylene carbonate (PPC) material.

If your are looking to purchase this shaker bottle use the link below to order

Note : I was given a discount in return for my review

Blender Bottle

When mixing up a protein powder the use of a Blender Bottle makes the process pretty easy.  The latest bottle I bought, is the Blender Bottle but with a few cool, sweet options. The bottle has a screw on addition to the bottom that a powered mix can be stored inside. It's crazy but numerous additional containers can be screwed on to the bottom also. Also in inside the addition to the powered mix storage, there is a pill/tablet storage compartment inside I store supplements inside.

I love the "all in one" unit. What still puzzles me about the Blender Bottle is the squared off bottom of the inside. I would think they would design it with a more rounded bottom so the blender ball could reach the whole area down there.  I also like that the whole unit is dishwasher safe.

Lean Greens Supplement

LEAN GREENS

I’ve had the chance to use Lean Greens, an impressive great tasting supplement, for the past three weeks or so. This 60 calories per serving, with 2 grams of protein, is very easy to mix with water.  I have used it with just mixing with water and the taste is really good. Besides greens, the supplement contains Maltodextrin and stevia leaf extract (to add a little bit of sweetness). So what are the “greens” inside this powder? Spinach, wheat grass, barley grass, alfalfa, chlorella, carrot powder, spirulina, brocolli, blueberry extract, blackcurrant extract as well as Siberian ginseng and green tea are all part of the powdered supplement. I believe this supplement is perfect for those that are vegetarian. The powdered supplement is very fine and inside the canister is a easy to measure teaspoon scoop. I have mixed it using just a spoon with water and have even used it in the blender to mix it up really well. I like the water very cold, or even thrown in a few ice cubes if mixing it inside the blender.  I have had no stomach issues while using the Lean Greens.  Adding three teaspoons to a glass of water is all it takes for adding these powered greens to a quick healthy drink.

The supplement can be ordered on Amazon.com by going to here  LEAN GREENS

I have even mixed the Lean Greens in with fruit, two strawberries or a few pieces of a peach and other type of smoothies, although the instructions say to drink right away after mixing. The flavor alone of the Lean Greens is great, I just like to add a little more natural sweetness to the supplement.

Life and Food's Omega 3 Supreme

I was sent a bottle of Life and Food's Omega 3 Supreme supplement to review.  The 90 count soft gel dietary supplement is recommended to taking 2 soft gels with a meal.  This is a premium quality Omega 3 supplement with 1,400mg fish oil - 75 percent Omega-3s.  The soft gels go down smoothly. I take Omega 3's to help with stiffness and joint pain, but there are many other reasons to take Omega 3's.  I know that the best way to get Omega 3's is directly from food sources rich in them, but to make sure I am getting my daily amount I use the supplement. This supplement is sustainably sourced from wild Alaskan Pollock. The no fish burp, high absorption, is great for heart heath, brain and joint support.
