RFS (Run Forever Sports) Compression Calf Sleeves

RFS (Run Forever Sports) Compression Calf Sleeves provide great support and compression.  It does not matter which sleeve goes on which leg, however make sure when ordering that you order the correct size.  To start off measure the biggest circumference of your calf and order either the medium or large size. After measuring order a medium pair if your measurement was 11" to 15" and order a large pair if your measurement was 15" to 19".
I wear the compression sleeves during a long run or ride.  After a long day of standing on my feet or a workout that leaves my calf muscles sore, I will even wear them to bed. The durable sleeves are made of 75% Lycra and 25% Spandex making them very breathable. Although I use them for sports purposes anyone spending long hours on there feet or traveling can benefit from wearing them. They provided compression helps with circulation and can help speed recovery.
The sleeves are easy to put on and take off and keep your lower leg warm.
These sleeves are great for those who suffer from shin splints. I believe Compression Calf Sleeves are must for runners, whether you wear them while out running or just for recovery afterwards.

I rate Run Forever Compression Calf Sleeves 5 out of 5 stars.

Limm Sports Armband

Wearing the Limm Sports Armband allows you to bring your smartphone along while exercising. The Limm Sports Armband fits larger smartphones There is even a small pocket to hold a house key, although will the size of some house keys now days yours may not fit. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and in order to put the smartphone inside the armband it must be taken out of any case or Otterbox protection you may have it in to begin with. It is a tight fit, but is secure. There is a flap on the top that keeps any water or sweat away from your smartphone. When your phone is inside the armband all the buttons, functions and screen are still accessible. The micro Velcro strap holds the armband in place very and very secure. I would have thought a small hole would have been left for using a headphone jack.  The material is very light weight and is washable by hand after getting it sweaty.

After wearing the Limm Sports Armband for two weeks, while working out I found out it really does not stop sweat from hitting your smartphone.  I had an iPod shuffle inside the pocket and as I removed it after my workout the window on the front was fogged up and sweat droplets were on the inside.

After reviewing the Limm Sports Armband I rate it 2 stars out of a possible 5 stars.

Two Weeks in and Going Strong

Only two weeks into 2015 and I am feeling strong.  I have kept up with the "at least a mile a day" that was just for the month of December.  I am wearing my Training Mask off and on.  I am starting the hunt for a new pair of running shoes wanting to save my Hoka One One's, which I love.  I am working on setting up my work out at home to be more than just the jump rope, plyo box, bicycle rollers and running.

2014 Ends as 2015 Begins!

So I was able to finish the #RWRUNSTREAK, running at least a mile a day in the month of December, 2014. 2015 has begun and it's going to be a great year.
The running took place a month after my MCL surgery early in Nov.  The rehab I put in really helped speed up my recovery.  A little stiffness here and there but nothing like it was a year ago.  The next tests on it will be more distance.
On Sunday Dec. 29, I was able to get out on the mountain bike trail. I hit up a new trail in San Tan Park I had never tried. I look to return there a bunch as I need to get some miles in on the dirt trail to prepare for this years 12 Hours at Night in June.
