The Ultra Sport Travel towel by Shandali

I was given to try and test out a microfiber towel made by Shandali (www.shandali.com). In the summer time spending time around the water to cool off a towel to dry off is always handy. Shandali makes two sizes of their ultra sport travel towel.  I tested out the 20" by 40" towel yet they also come in 24" by 48".
I sometimes don't like the feel of microfiber, but this I could handle. The towel is very soft on your skin. I threw it in my kids swim bag where it take up no room at all. The towel is super absorbent, which you wouldn't think a towel this size would be.  The towel is made of 80% polyester and 20% nylon.  I use and love my Orange Mud Transition towel for drying off after I swim at the pool.  The towel would be a perfect fit for those going to the beach or spending all day by the pool wanting to dry off and not want to worry about a bulky towel to carry around. The advanced microfiber lightweight material is sure to soak up any amount of water your body holds onto after exiting the water. I dried both my kids off with it after swim lessons and they both commented on how soft it was on their skin. The towel has a built in hook to hang it by for drying which dries very fast. The towel is super absorbent and is available in a few different colors.

The Cat-Ears family of wind blocking devices for your bike helmet.

Cat-Ears
Removing the noise of the wind, allowing you to hear what's around you.

There is a product developed for every type of rider including other family members. Cat-Ears provide wind noise blocking without blocking sound waves. From the casual rider to the elite athlete.  Safety is the key. Here's a look at the line of Cat-Ears designed by Rick and Heidi Weissner.

Hears (Here is) the Cats meow broken down.  (Puns intended)

To start off with Ear Covers are the only product that attach to both the down strap as well as the strap that runs to the back of the helmet.  They help keep your ears warm during cool or cold rides while blocking the wind noise but allow sound to travel through them. These are a must have in the winter months and very early morning rides before the sun rises.

Cat-Ears Ear Covers

Next up the Classic I are made of a faux fur material that is 1/2 inch thick, dampening and deflecting wind noise. They are designed to fit 1/2 inch helmet straps. They are 1 3/8 inch wide and 2 1/2 inches long.

Cat-Ears Classic I

Next are the Classic II, also made of a faux fur material that is 1/2 inch thick, dampening and deflecting wind noise. They are designed to fit 1/2 inch helmet straps. They are 1 1/4 inch wide and 2 1/4 inches long. A major difference with these is the back side (the side facing the riders face) is fleece and not the faux fur material.  Some riders don't like the feel of the faux fur on their face, so for some this could be added comfort.

Cat-Ears Classic II

The Strap Wraps are for your casual rider that travels at a lower speed. They attach to your helmet strap with Velcro just like any of the other Cat-Ears products.  These have a scalloped edge on the outside facing the ear, diverting the wind away from your ear.  Very comfortable and they wick sweat.

The Classic Pro is once again made with the faux fur that is 1/2 inch thick, dampening and deflecting wind noise. They are designed to fit 1/2 inch helmet straps. They are 1 1/8 inch wide and 2 inches long. They are right and left specific, and are packaged in such a way to let you know before attaching them to your helmet straps. When attached the front edge seems to point upward.

Cat-Ears Classics Pro

Once again "The Classics"  I, II, Pro are designed to fit 1/2 inch helmet straps.  The difference with all of them is their size. They all provide the maximum wind noise reduction by reducing wind noise approximately 40 to 60 percent.

All Cat Ears are available in numerous colors.  So check them out on their site.  Pick a set to match your bike or maybe your helmet, or maybe your cycling kit.  It's up to you.

Here you can see how the product is used. Very easy and comfortable.

Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror - Review

For along time I have been using my razor in my shower.  It’s just fast and easy. The steam in the shower helps get rid of razor burn. There were times I would miss a little patch on my chin or cheek so getting the Cassani Fog less Shower Mirror was a no brainer. Don’t worry the mirror is shatter proof and instructions to care for it are just like a pair of sunglasses, no using any kind of cleaning chemical on it. When I ordered the fog less mirror, I didn’t realize it came along with wall mounts for both the mirror and a razor.  They easily attach to the shower wall and should be mounted away from the water stream as well as out of reach of children. The mirror has Anti-Fog Nanotechnology repelling fog and allowing you to focus on getting the best shave possible.  The mirror does was it claims and is very easy to mount and use.

Full Disclosure :  I received the Cassani Fog Less Mirror for free, however, I only recommend and review products I personally use and believe in.
