5K Tape

I have recently been using kinesiology tape from 5K Tape to help my MCL on my left leg.  The tape helps reduce the pain and helps with the circulation. The tape isn’t just for athletes, the elderly and young kids can effectively be helped with its use.  It can be applied to the legs, knees, feet, shoulders, arms and back.  The 5K Tape comes precut, so its very easy to use.  When applying on yourself I recommend going online and watching a few videos on the techniques it takes to apply.

Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s)

I have tried using Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s) , which are building blocks of protein helping support muscle growth, similar to protein powders.  They are in veggie capsules and contain nothing else. They don't have any other ingredients such as magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, microcrystalline dellulose, gelatin, sucralose or titanium dioxide in them. NONE of those ingredients in this product.

Xtreme Bright LED Camping Lantern

I have recently been using the Xtreme Bright’s LED camping lantern as I get outside my car and prep my mountain bike before heading out on the trail.  The small lantern, about the size of a soup can only weighs 6 ounces and is run by 3AA batteries. The handles on the top are very convenient and could be used to hang in a tree or attach a rope or clip to to suspend it. The light simply turns on my pulling the top of the lantern up, exposing the LED.  If you wanted to dim the light you could just not extend the lamp out all the way. I can foresee this lamp making its way into our backpacks to go hiking or camping.  The lamp is available in three colors red, black and gold.

King Athletic Speed Cable

The King Athletic Speed Cable is a great jump rope to use, its really a vinyl coated cable. The light hallow handles are design very nicely and are very sleek.  The rope comes in a 10 foot length and adjustment screws are on either end, which allow you to cut the rope/cable to fit the user appropriately. The cable does not get tangled and can be folded very easily. 

I guessing there are a lot of people that might read this that haven't picked up a jump rope since maybe elementary school. Jumping rope is a great activity to add to your workout and raise your heart rate during training. Increase your cardio and tone your calves,thighs, upper back and shoulders at the same time and using the rope will help improve balance, coordination and timing. 

There are a few techniques in which to jumping while using the King Athletic Speed Cable.

two feet together (basic jump)

high-knees in place

heel to toe

alternate feet

double hop  

criss-cross

double under (the rope moves under the jumper twice during one jump)

Dude Wipes -- Feel Clean and Remove the Stink

You ever get off your bike after a commute or ride and need to freshen up?  Some of us don't have access to shower facilities after a commute around town or work.  Dude Products makes the perfect solution with their Dude Wipes.  Very convenient to carry around and stash in your backpack, computer bag or cycling jersey pocket.  The alcohol free wipes can be used on your hands, face, arm pits and ..... you get the picture.  They measure 44 square inches, so they are plenty big for anyone wanting to remove the stink from themselves.  Keep in mind, these are "Dude" wipes yet if needed, I guess the "Dudette" could use it.
