2016 is just around the corner.....

2016 is just around the corner and I have been working on a list of races and rides/runs/swims I would like to complete.
Sure, I have been thinking about 2016 for awhile. A month or two to be exact. Of course it always helps to write these down to make sure they happen or force yourself into completing them because you are now accountable for them.
What's on your list?

Well and Fit Wrist Wraps

Looking to give my wrists more support while doing weights and kettle bell workouts, these Well and Fit wrist wraps are made of a high quality cotton and polyester with elastic woven in.  These wraps help protect your wrists for various weight or kettlebell workouts. After wrapping comfortably using the thumb strap to start with, they allow for good mobility. These straps measure 12 inches by three inches and come with their own reusable pouch to keep them in.

CycleBeam’s Graphene 700 Bike Light

This very rugged little handlebar light with external battery back is very bright and light weight.  The CREE XM-L2 LED bulb can be used in one of three modes. Yes, this light has only one LED, but a very powerful one. High, low and blinking. With the light running on high, the battery will last approximately five hours. While using the light on low power it could last up to 15 hours.  The durable light is built of an aluminum and is water resistant, however it should not be submerged in water. If the light should get wet, say by rain, you will be ok. The cord running from the light to the battery pack has a screw ring on it, once snapped with the connection, screw the water resistant cap to make the connection secure. With the light being made of aluminum, it dissipates heat very well. The battery back has a case with velcro straps, allowing it to be attached to the top bar of the bike. For mounting the light, it attaches to an aluminum clamp.  The kit comes with two hex key tools, one is used to attach the light to the clamp and the other is to tighten the clamp after attaching it to your handlebar. It comes with a few different size pieced of rubber stripping that seat under the clamp to make a tight grip on the handlebar. Both the power cable from the light and from the battery are pretty long. Of course the light can be plugged into the battery that comes with it but it also has a feature that allows you to, if needed, to used an external battery with a USB attachment to plug into it.
The kit comes with some seals for the light as well as rubber strips to use when attaching it to the handlebars.  Once tightened on the handlebar, it is very sturdy and it can handle all the shaking and bumping around. Minor adjustments to where you want to the light pointed are not possible unless you loosen the bolt and reposition it with the hex key. Set the light up with the direction you want it pointed before heading off on a ride.
For night riding and being able to light up a trail or path, this light does very well.

TOP list of awesome items any athlete would love to get for Christmas this year!

Do you have an athlete, runner, triathlete or swimmer on your Christmas shopping list you need to buy for?

Here are some quick and great ideas of what to get them.
The Orange Mud Hydra Quiver is perfect for keeping anyone hydrated out hiking or running. This great hydration pack can hold more than just a bottle, it can hold numerous items including gels, nutrition, cellphone, keys and much more.

Or maybe Orange Mud's transition wrap!

Cat-Ears will keep your cyclist safe by letting them hear others around them while riding. These simple strap onto any helmet's straps, placing them in front of the ear.  These are proven and very affective.

What fits better in the Orange Mud Hydra Quiver than the Relaj water bottle. The unique bottle is easy to hold,  both top and bottom are removable for easy cleaning.

Udderly Smooth body and foot cream will keep your runners feet and skin smooth or buy them a jar of Udderly Smooth's Chamois cream to keep them chafe free on long training rides and races.

Give them a little squeeze. RecoFit's calf compression sleeves. These are great for runner or cyclists. Recovery has never been so easy.

For the swimmers out there, Barracuda goggles will keep them swimming in a straight line.  These vision correction goggles are anti-fog coated and come in either tinted or clear lenses.

Maybe the athlete or triathlete in your house could use Shutout Solutions Total Body Spray or other stink removing products to make them smell great after a workout? Shutout Solutions removes the stink not just covering it up.

Fuel your athlete with a variety of Amrita plant based nutrition energy bars! If you don't buy them a whole box of 12, you can always mix and match and even use them as a stocking stuffer.

Carb BOOM energy gels are a great stocking stuffer.  Numerous flavors to choose from or order them a variety pack.

How about the very innovative See.Sense smart head and/or tail lights.
The See.Sense 2.0, intelligent sense technology, motion gesture control smart tail light with CREE LED’s provides a 180 degree light pattern. The internal battery can last up to 12 hours on a single charge.

And last but not least, maybe for the runner your shopping for that suffers from plantar fasciitis
and help their joints recover fast with Frozen Peaz!  Theses can be used or either hot or cold therapy. Simply keep them in your freezer and apply after a tough workout.

Or how about to keep their bike looking new and lubricated right for the New Year ahead?
TERRA-RIDE's bike protectant!, or TERRA-RIDE lubricant and cleaner! Both great for stocking stuffers also.

Viper Sportswear

After slipping your middle finger and ring finger through the two holes simply using the velcro enclosure around your wrist is simple.  I believe after awhile it will be easier to slip my fat fingers through the holes, but the feel is good.  I ordered a size large of the Viper Sports Wear grips due to my hand size. Swinging the kettlebell is very comfortable now and the grip is very solid. Save your hands from being torn up by other bar exercises or kettlebell swings. Running down the middle of the palm of my hand the grip stays firmly in place.

One Tri men’s nine inch bike short

The One Tri men’s nine inch bike shorts are very comfortable.  The thick Coolmax pad is a bit bulky for a tri short, but is still doable. The silicone leg grippers keep the shorts from riding up. There is no draw string in the waist or very good elastic, so order the correct size when doing so. They are a bit loose where I would have thought the compression would have been better. Very good fit and with them being black, you can wipe your greasy hands on them after changing a flat tire and not have to worry.  With the shorts being 80 percent polyester and 20 percent spandex they still are able to fit and conform to you body very well. They dry very easy after swimming or getting them wet.

DoubleDagger Glove and Wrist Wrap

Measure your hand for the correct size in which to order. The size I ordered was correct. The individual slot where my fingers enter the glove half is a little tight, but that may just be because of my bigger hands. Either way, these gloves and wrist wraps provide very good support and protection to your hands and wrists. With the glove and wrist wrap being two separate parts, you can wear both or just the one, depending upon the support or exercise you are doing. These are very comfortable for doing any type of kettle bell swings or weight lifting and would highly recommend these by DoubleDagger.
