The 17 miles with my training partner, Jen, started off at 6am and 37 degrees out. I was freezing for the first 3 miles. The route we took along the canal had patchy fog hanging over it. Coming off from last weeks high doing the half-marathon in 2:15 the pace was a little slower. I used for the first time to test out on my
Achilles tendon, KT Tape. It seemed to work really good. The taper for the full marathon now starts. A few more long runs ,which we are going to try and do a few on the real course and we should be set. Recovery was fast and not feeling anything today.
