Results and my thoughts using the Person Trainer Food Programs the past 14 Days!

Low Carb Meal Delivery Service

Following up after using the Personal Trainer Food 14 day program.

It is very forward and easy to follow program.

Using the program I found out a lot about myself, more than just the food I was eating or not eating.

Feeling strong and fit.

It was nice to have the meals portioned out.  I would just grab them out of the freezer and put them in my lunch box to bring to work.  They were easy to heat up in the microwave and ready to eat.  The evening meal, I just did the same thing. When I got home and the rest of my family was sitting down to dinner, I easily popped my two pouches, one a meat and the other a vegetable in the microwave.

A few things I thought I would be struggling more with. Needing sugar and carbohydrates to keep me going. No, that there hasn’t been that temptation to eat them, or turning them down when they had been offered to me. There was and I was able to get by and remain on track of this program.

On the program, I drank clear liquids, water, tea and coffee. The coffee is the one thing that right in the morning starts me off, walking out of the house. Not having that sugary creamer to make the taste better was hard, but it been doable.  Looking back on it, I guess the sugary creamer I would add would be a quick energy started, but did not help with the weight loss and the sugar would burn off quickly.

Did I feel hungry throughout the day? A little, but I am able to supplement with other foods/snacks like a cheese stick or a handful of almonds. A big plus was also staying well hydrated. I try and hit my target of half my body weight in ounces of water, and come close to that.

The walking 20 minutes a day was relaxing. I can say that besides the step counter on my watch, I was getting well over the 2000 steps.  I went out a few times on my regular mountain bike training rides. Averaging about 10 miles with them.  This is not part of the program but my weekly habits of just working out. I took the rides easy and not pushing myself, knowing the calorie count I was consuming. Typically to start off a workout and not have any type of carbohydrate type of fuel was weird. It was doable. I had water with me and was happy just consuming that.

It had me thinking a lot during the last week, just how much I was or thought I was dependent upon sugar and carbohydrates.

The individual packages containing the food are labeled to show what’s inside and how long to cook it for. If you want to find out the nutrition value of the items or the meals, their website under “Nutrition” is where you will find it.  It looked to be the program based off a 2000 calories a day diet. They are high protein and fats, with little to no sugar, making it a Keto meal plan.

As you can see from the screen shots from their website, they list the nutritional value of all their packages foods.

Everything that I ordered was flavorful and delicious. I really liked the Nashville Hot Chicken Sticks.  They have a chili icon, listed next to this items photo on the website denoting it is spicy, hot.  It is true, and that’s what I was hoping for and expected.  Nothing is worse than food without good spice and flavor.

Dill Chicken Bites with Normandy Vegetables, one of my favorites.

Meals before going in my insulated lunch box.

Easy to read instructions on the microwavable bags.

For anyone out there wanting to just try it, the Personal Trainer Food structured food program.

I liked the program and would highly recommend. For me, it set me straight on knowing a correct portion size to eat.

After completing the 14 days I am excited to say I was able to drop 14 pounds in weight. That’s a pound a day.  Of course my results are going to be different that anyone else, but I am happy and can feel my clothes fit a little better.
