The Spruzza Mist Cooling System

The Spruzza Mist Cooling System

This is one of four products to help keep you cool in the summer heat. Cycling in the summer with hot temperatures can make your heart rate climb and have an effect on your performance. Using the Spruzza Mist cooling system, cools your body off from 15 to 20 degrees. Mist your face, your neck or your chest. I use it along with other products as the evaporative cooling effect helps in the time it takes to recover from a ride. Ride cooler this summer.

Valley Bike Month

I participated this past April in Valley Bike Month, I mean how could I not. Even with the hotter than normal weather, I commuted to work a bunch last month. A benefit from riding to work was a prize of a pair of socks. Who could't use a sweet pair of socks?

They finally arrived in the mail last week. They are nice socks, the Sock Guy brand. Not bad for helping clean the air on the commute to work and do something I would have done or enjoy anyhow. I will have to remember this next April during Bike Month and sign up for the promotion they have going.

Did it, but barely.

I finished the 100 miles of cycling I had set out for my goal last week.  With about 25 miles to go, I came down with a cold, so the rest of the goal was tough.
I did 12.5 of the miles on mountain bike.
On an evening road ride, I was 8 miles into what was planned at 10 until a severe rear flat. The flat was a pinch flat or blow out, I can't tell exactly. The ride ended abruptly having me walk home about  a mile. I was in a good groove and pace and the weather was cooling off from the daytime heat.
I turned around the next day and finished up the last day with an easy three mile ride around the neighborhood on a different bike.
The summer heat is for sure here.  I have a series of four videos coming out, and will link them back to my blog here.  The videos are about different products that will help keep riders cool in the summer. They keep you outside and on the road as opposed to riding indoors on a boring trainer. Stay tuned.
